The Strain of Working to Ride
Like many horse owners I work to ride. I don't mean I work for my lessons or work with horses so that I can ride. I mean that I have a full time non-equestrian job, the main purpose of which is to fund my passion. Horses.
I would love nothing more than to be a professional in the horse industry. That is a goal that I am working towards and always planning. Unfortunately, the bills don't care what you do as long as they get paid. So, for now I work to ride, and ride to live. This blog is about the struggle of one equestrian balancing work, riding and showing, with the dreams of one day riding for work.
